Gamblers Rejoice,

The Chimeron Casino Royale will be running Friday and Saturday events with a wide selection of table games for your amusement. In addition, Friday evening will feature a 50 gold buy-in Texas hold-em tournament*, followed by a 100 gold buy-in tournament* Saturday evening.
Both tournaments will start by 8 and run for 3 hours max, with chip count determining the placing if need be.

*House takes 10%, afterwards the payout is (1st 50%, 2nd 30%, 3rd 20%). Normal stacked deck blind structure will be used, Rebuys rules determined by players at the start of the tournaments.

Rules Changes and Notes

If there is any discrepancy/conflict with this event announcement and any other communication/document about the event, this event announcement takes precedence.

Realms currency is not stealable at this event.

Magic Items/Weapons stored in cars/cabins (after questing) are considered not stealable. (Yes, that means you do not need to worry after questing is done and do not need to be weighed down by all that equipment on your back as you enjoy the night!)

Other rule changes may be announced at the event.

Other Notes

Core staff (listed above) can be identified by their fancy sashes.
If you show up to site before 6pm on Friday, you will be put to work.

ALCOHOL:
Alcohol consumption with proper ID. No exceptions, be prepared with your ID.

All alcohol must be given to the bar staff. Bar staff will be available to facilitate this when you check in to the event. Label what is yours. Do not bring homemade premixed drinks, like punch.

No drinks served before the First Toast.

2 Bottle Limit /1 case limit. Due to space and in effort to get your drinks to you in a timely manner, we are enforcing a 2 bottle or 1 case limit per person. Email Becky (see contact above) for questions.

MARIJUANA:
Though legal in the state of Massachusetts, per the rules of Ye Olde Commons, use of Marijuana is not allowed. This is includes, but is not limited to: use, consumption, possession, gifting, or showing up to the event under the influence of Marijuana or its derivatives.

FOOD:
For your dietary restrictions to be accommodated, we need you to register them to Liz Butler (contact info above, or reachable via Facebook Messenger) no later than Dec 5, 2018.

DESSERT:
This year for the dessert contest, we are doing a flavor profile instead of a specific dessert. The kitchen staff and I have decided on EGGNOG. Your dessert should have the flavor of eggnog.
You don’t even have to use eggnog, but it should taste like it. Your dessert should be able to feed 8-12 people. Please provide an ingredient card for allergy purposes. When you turn in your dessert into the kitchen staff you will be given a number and your dessert will be put out after judging for everyone to try.

HELPING:
If you would like to NPC, help set up or clean up, serve, or Bar Back, please contact Sean Veale (whose contact info is listed above) or fill in this signup:
https://www.signupgenius.com/go/60B0C45ACAD2CAAF49-ucct

Those who help out for at least an hour will receive $5 off per 2 hours, to a maximum of 4 hours, from this or their next Uncle Cecil's fee. Such helpers will also be allowed to claim staff bunks in the house. Of note, the bunks in the tavern are reserved for core event staff.

BUNKS:
UPDATE: All non-staff bunks have been claimed by attendees who sent in paid pre-registrations. At this point, anyone who sends in a paid pre-reg will be added to a waiting list to get any bunks that may become available. All cabins have space heaters provided by the site. Any questions/concerns about sleeping arrangements can be directed to Pat Bobell.

If you sign up to help with the event, you get access to staff bunk space in addition to the usual event fee refund, until we run out of staff bunks.

TAVERN:
All personal equipment must be removed from the Tavern/Main Hall before the first toast at 6pm.
