The Clontarf Casino will also be offering a chance for other players to excel at other games of strategy and chance. They will be offering gold and other prizes to people who can prove they are the best, Settler, or chess master, or other games. There will be no buy in for these contests, they are provided free of charge.

We will also have a gold poker table available for anyone that might get out of a tournament or did not make the tournament but still want to play poker.

If we have interest and time we will run a stacked deck tournament that will start the 1019 season!

We are running this as a pot luck for food. If you can bring something, fantastic! The building we are in does not have a kitchen, but we will bring several power strips for crock pots and such.

Each Player will start with 20,000 in chips.
then bonus chips for tournaments played will be added.
each player will also have the opportunity to "pre-tip" the dealers 25 gold to receive 1 5,000 add on. this must be done before play starts.

this years pot finished at 950. 50 gold from last year's purse will be added to it to make an even 1000.
The gold prizes will be 500, 300, and 200 gold respectively. the winner will have their choice of the 500 gold or a very special (blue) item. Second will get the highest level gold payout available, (if the winner took the blue then it would be the 500) or the special item if the winner does not wish it. Third and forth will follow the same pattern. either the highest level gold not claimed by someone who finished higher or the special item if not claimed.

Quick note on tie breakers for placing, if two players have the same number of points then the player that played in more tournaments will be considered to rank higher, if 2 players both have the same number of points and the same number of tournaments played, they the player that earned the higher amount of points most recently will be considered to be higher ranked. if we do not have enough players with points to fill out the top 16 the player with the most tournaments played will be invited to take that spot. if they make it in this way they will not get there bonus chips for tournament played. if two players have played equal amounts of tournaments then the player that played most recently will be considered higher ranked.

WE will be in Manning Hall, not the big hall at Camp Carpenter. from the parking lot up the hill to the left of the main building.
