Black & White 2020

Black and White is around the corner! The nights are getting cooler and the leaves are finding their autumn colors. Though we can't celebrate the thinning of The Veil in person, Chimeron is excited to bring you as full a virtual event as we can.

Dig out your mask and garb, hook up your webcam if you've got one, and join us for a full day of socializing, contests, classic Black & White recipes, a mini-quest and tournaments in Minecraft, content and NPCs from ongoing plots, the Black Ticket Auction, Chimeron Court via Zoom (open to others' business before the Realms, as usual), spaces for storytelling and plot discussion, and of course, digital dancing! There may even be a way to find a special snowy mailbox, should you wish to send a letter. We'll also be providing OOC areas for folks who'd like to catch up with one another out-of-game.

Starting with this event, Chimeron will be augmenting the Omnibus Code of Conduct with additional rules intended to protect the health and wellbeing of our players and staff. We have decided to refer to these additional safeguards as the Code of Conduct Plus (CoC+ for short).

The event staff will do their best to facilitate spells (Seer and otherwise) if relevant.

While we won't be running the Trappings of Civilization, you may still submit Story Shards to take effect at this event. Info about the Story Shard between-event-action system can be found at shards.rtc.fyi. Shards must be submitted by October 17th.

Anyone banned from attending Chimeron events is banned from attending this virtual Chimeron event. That list may be found at http://chimeron.realmsnet.net/ban.html

About a week before the virtual Black & White, we will open the website and Discord server up for attendees to get checked in and explore the schedule of activities. We'll also have one or more staff available the days before the event to help answer any tech questions and help folks get set up.
