Event Description
Come join us for the 9th annual Queen of Hearts Tournaments and War Maneuvers. To compete in tournaments you must be supporting someone who is running for the honorific title of "Queen of Hearts". You can come to the event not supporting anyone and then offer your services to someone on Saturday morning if you want to. Please go to [ Rhiassa](http://www.rhiassa.com/) for notes, site rules, tourney lists, past winners and more information! \
Event Wrap-up
Many thanks to all those who helped to make this year's Queen of Hearts possible. We especially appreciate the efforts of those who stayed late to help clean up inside and around the tavern, and those who made sure their camping sites were spotless when they left. Our deepest appreciation is saved for Seth Flagg and Joe Piepora. Seth took the jobs of Head Marshal and Champions Marshal and did both exceptionally well. Joe worked hard for the entire weekend to create, run and clean up one of the best night quests Queen of Hearts has seen in its 9 year run. Seth assembled a great marshalling squad, including the talents of Kathy Horn, Cheech, Ian Pushee, Tim Bonci, Kelly, Keith Gerrard, Sean Anderson, Sean Veale, Marianne & Steve Matulewicz, Alex Kelley, Adam Saris and others I am surely forgetting. You guys ran a great tourney event! Thanks to all of those who NPCed the nightquest. You endured some of the wettest and chilliest weather we've had for a Queen of Hearts nightquest. We also want to thank Marianne for taking on the enourmous task of shopping on Friday night so the Tavern would have lots of food for you all. Without Marianne, Amber, Alex Kelley, Jen Zimmerman and others keeping the Tavern running, Amy and I would never have seen the light of day this weekend! Thanks to everyone who helped clean up after the event - your help was invaluable. Collecting trash and sweeping and mopping floors are not glamorous jobs, so we're grateful to those of you who stuck around long enough to help out. We hope you all enjoyed Queen of Hearts 9, and without any further ado - here are this year's winners: War Maneuvers Bood Bowl - Radstar's Team Bridge Battle - Radstar's Team Capture the Flag - Radstar's Team Field Battle - Radstar's Team Folkestone Challenge - Radstar's Team Kill the Queen - Radstar's Team Fetch - Artex's Team Man Hunt - Radstar's Team Monster Chess - Radstar's Team Rhiassan Live Chess - Radstar's Team Wizard War - Radstar's Team Team Grand Melee - Radstar's Team Queen's War - Radstar's Team Non-Boffer Competitions Live Archery - Croythar Live Knife Throw - Samuel Raeth Strongman - Magnus Running - Tivadar Jesters - Gryph Foamsmith - Shakra Armourer - Blade Scavenger - Kyomi Trapper - Tetch Bardic - Cody Dance - Shalindra Cartography - Tiara Best Garb - Tiara Banner/Heraldry - Tiara Tent Site - Radstar Tournaments Dicky Weapons of Doom - Zula Daggers - Artex Single Short - Killian Florentine - Lysis Sword & Shield - Zebo Hand & a Half - Steel Duncan's Challenge - Barrett 5-Person - Blade, Stryker, Callin, Steel & Kwartz Newbies - Gaidin Boff Archery - Jarrod Rangers - Qualoch RATs - Stryker Mages - Baba Squires - Mestoph Knights - Radstar Couples - Katasha & Damion One Man - Kwartz One Woman - Sapphire Night Quest MVP - Lucas Best General - Lucas Best Seneschal - Myrddin Best Castellan - Savyne Best Champion - Blade Queen of Hearts - Radstar One final note.
