Event Description

Heroes of the Realms,

We have learned that the Imperium has plans to launch a massive attack on multiple locations in the Realms in the near future. I request that all those who wish to seek to prevent the destruction that the Imperium seek meet with me on the eve of battle. I have sent a request to the Emperor of the Imperium for a war counsel to resolve these matters as peacefully as possible.

I hope to see many of you soon.

King Skyros of Pacifica

To the Realms at Large,

My maidens have been tracking Anthers recent movements. He seems to be interested in ancient Imperium temples to their pantheon of gods. We will continue to monitor the situation, and will meet you on Pacifica on the eve of the Imperium Summit.

Rules Changes and Notes

This will be the last event in the Imperium series. Due to this, there will be no formal feast this year, however there will be a bountiful IC dinner provided. Day board and breakfast will also be provided on Saturday and Sunday.

Cabins are available on site.

Parking is available only at the entrance to the site. You are permitted to drive to the upper part of site to drop off gear, but your car must be returned to the parking lot at the site entrance. If you are arriving after 8pm Friday or 1pm Saturday, please wait to drop gear off until a break in content. A shuttle service will be available throughout the weekend.

*****War Banners*****
The final conflict between the Realms and the Imperium is upon us! Any existing nation, guild, knighthood, or order may choose to bring a banner of war to march under. As long as there are at least 5 members of the respective group on site they may gain a bonus from being within its proximity. You may only designate yourself or gain benefit from one War Banner at the event, this includes petitioners, squires, apprentices or the sort.

War banners must be at least 2’x2’ in size and in order for a War Banners effect to be active, it must be held by a player. All War Banners are considered 1 Handed items. If a player holding a banner dies, they should also declare “Banner Down” in addition to the call of dead to signify to other players that its bonus’ are no longer in effect. While within 10’ of a War Banner, corresponding players are considered to be under the effect of Aura of Protection. Once per event, each corresponding player may hold the banner and cast a Cry of Life spell that is limited to the people of the groups banner (ie. “All heroes of Ashenmark, rise and fight,” would be the appropriate call for an Ashenmark banner).

Special Calls
Shatter
A non magic blow that breaks any weapons or items that it strikes. If it strikes a player in an armored location, all that players armor is destroyed. If it strikes a player in an unarmored location, it counts as a normal blow.
Final Strike
A magical attack that kills all players within its range. The range is always considered to be 5' from the caster, unless a distance is otherwise specified.
