Come sail the waters of Kawa no Oza and help the locals get rid of the pirates and finish calmimg the great river spirit. Rua Thar Cin did some of the work, and got rid of the Oni leading the pirates. It's up to you now to complete the job.
Of course, the official government stance is, "Everything is fine."
Since we missed the two week deadline for the reschedule, this will have to be a non-legal event. We won't be able to give our players spell credit, none of us will get EH credit, and we can't issue a new magic item. That being said, it's still going to be a heck of a good time.
Capped at 20 players.

We will be meeting and parking at the end point of our tubing adventure at the Shunpike Rest area in Charlemont Ma. I can't stress this enough...YOU NEED TO BE AT THE REST AREA BY 11:00AM AT THE VERY LATEST. We have a certain time we need to be on the river by or we will miss the dam release and it won't be nearly as much fun.
Things you should know before the event:
Bring your own tube, we can blow them up on site. If you can't bring a tube, there is a small shop just up the street that rents them for $10 for the day but I can't guarantee they will have any is it might be busy.
We highly recommend some sort of water shoe as the river bottom is rocky and we will be using some of the various small islands. Seriously. They will be a life saver for your feet.
Sunscreen. Wear it. We will make sure we have some, but more is better.
There really is no place to change, so come dressed accordingly.
The river isn't very deep for most of it. Life jackets aren't needed, and we won't be providing any. That said, if you feel more comfortable with one, you should plan for one.
This is a public river, as such there will be mundanes. This will be no different than other event sites where this has occurred.
You will be able to lock your cars and leave car keys with someone.
Armor does not need to be worn. You will have whatever sectional armor your character can legally call. Spellcasters with Armored Cloak will have 1 pt of aura/floating armor.
Spellcasters do not need to have their spellbooks on them, but should bring them to the event in case signatures are needed. All signatures will be handled at the end of the event. You will not need them for check in.
Spell components - there are too many specific cases to list out. We are going to trust you on this one. If you feel that the component is central to the spell, plan on bringing it with you. We encourage the use of some sort of prop for everything as normal but are going to do our best to be understanding.
Magic Items - If you have magic items you want to bring you can! Feel free to make a temporary prop of some sort. If you opt to do this we are going to have you check in the real item at reg and leave it there. The temporary prop must have all pertinent info listed on it. It is up to you at the end of the event to check your temporary prop back in with us to get your real prop back. If you lose your item on the river, you'll most likely get a chance to get it back in the future.
We are planning to feed you after the quest portion, any dietary restrictions are appreciated.
This is a public parking area.
Charlemont, MA
