Event Wrap-up
Greetings,

We would like to take a moment to sincerely thank all of you in this wonderful community who came and made this year’s Uncle Cecil’s what it was. We hope you all had a great time, and appreciate any feedback you can give us on what you felt we did or did not do well so we make next year as excellent as possible: https://www.realmsnet.net/events/1762/archive#reviews

We’d love to publicly thank the incredible number people who helped us out throughout the weekend in various and sundry ways...and hopefully we’ll get everyone! (If not: our bad, please let us know! It means a lot to us and we’d like to correct any errors.)

Reg Desk:
Thank you to Becky Garbos for running the reg desk for us all Friday night and Saturday.

Tree Wrangling/Pre-Setup
Twen has an interesting story about getting the tree this year the tuesday before the event. You should ask her about it! We’d like to thank Megan Willamson, Rosemary Campbell, Joshua Fitzgerald, Edward Lynch, Josh Whelan, and Kreg Kaminski with tree wrangling and some pre-event setup of the hall.

Setup:
We’ll almost definitely miss someone who helped with the chaotic process of decorating, but we’re going to try anyway - thank you to Rosemary Campbell, Wendi Lovett, MJ Rodriguez, Ken Belsito, Kim and Dennis Coffey, Emiliy Murphy, Paul Tilton, Megan Williamson and everyone we missed for helping decorate the hall.

Kitchen:
Liz and the rest of the staff would like to thank Joe Sims and Jason Gray for being by her side in the kitchen all weekend and Joe Simms replaying his role as being the turkey extraordinaire. Liz and the rest of the staff would also like to thank Dave Hayden, Emily Murphy, Rose Whittle, Megan Willamson, MJ Rodriguez, Kelsey Miranda, Rosemary Campbell, Alyssa Lee, David Rubinstein, Janna Oakfellow-Pushee, David Cosman, Eric Willisson, Matt Butler, and Karen Veale for helping with dishes and/or cooking.

Bar:
In addition to the aforementioned folks who helped keep glasses clean for the bar by collecting and washing dishes, Bar Staff would like to thank Sarah Fournier and Karri Greenhalge for keeping the drinks flowing efficiently Saturday night.

Hall Helpers:
The staff would like to thank the following people for helping keeping the hall in good shape throughout the weekend, whether it was taking out trash, bussing dishes or general tidying up. Thank you to Megan Willamson, Megan Matulewicz, and Steven Matulewicz.

Pater Yule:
Making and organizing the dozens of gifts from Pater Yule to those who send him letters each year is a significant undertaking, and we’d like to thank Dennis Coffey, Kim Coffey, Kyle Yakinza, Janna Oakfellow-Pushee, Joshua Fitzgerald, Stephen Sanford, Ryan Welch, Eric Willisson, Aaron Metzger, Steven Matulewicz, Mikey Donnelly, Jason Rosa, Tom Gallagher, Pi Fisher, Paul Tilton, Dani Guimont, Ben Lacasse, Wendy Vigneault-Taylor, Angie Gray, and Derek Booke for their assistance this year. We couldn’t have done it without you.

Charity Auction:
This year, Twen’s Charity Auction raised over $1,000 to support War Dogs Making It Home, with a smaller donation to the Volunteer Humane Society. So many people donated gifts, goods, and services for this year’s Charity Auction, some of them simply dropped off at the table as people arrived on site, and we can’t reasonably list everyone here. Kelly would like to specially thank Edward Lynch for help setting up, and Paul Tilton and Kyle Yazinka for being very loud (and helpful) name-yellers.

Questing:
Renee and the rest of staff would like to thank John Rescigno for being Magic Marshal, and then James Murphy, Joe Sims, Adam Blaisdell, DJ Sapienza, Justin Mitchell, Nick Quadrini, Sarah Fournier, Angela Gray, Justin Boyce, Joshua Fitzgerald, Steve and Kyle Yazinka, Tom Gallagher, and Steve Nelson for NPCing, with a special shout out from staff to the Knights of the Sable Dragon (with Renee at the lead) for planning an excellent and thematically appropriate quest for UCCT. If you didn’t go you missed a good one! Other thanks goes to John Rescigno, Paul Tilton, and Derek Booke for not only NPCing, but also acquiring and building a wide variety of Yuletide props.

Casino:
Sean and the rest of the staff would like to thank MJ Rodiguez, Pi Fisher, Brian Healy, Brendan Turcotte and David Rubenstien for dealing over the weekend, and both Greg Falconer and Pi Fisher for dealing the Stacked Deck poker tournaments.

Cleanup:
Ah, cleanup. First and foremost, we need to thank all of you who came to the event and cleaned up after yourselves and each other throughout the weekend, and on Sunday! Every little bit that you can take care of so we don’t have to is appreciated. (Cabin cleanup and site walk was very easy this year) We’d also like to recognize the tireless efforts of Janna Oakfellow-Pushee, Megan Williamson, Karen Veale, Zack Koval, Joe Sims, Eric Willisson, Matt Butler, Ken Belsito, Ryan Keller, Kim and Dennis Coffey, and David Cosman for sweeping, mopping, moving chairs and tables, packing bins and vehicles, hauling away bags of trash, and working with us until everything was clean at 2:30pm Sunday afternoon. You guys seriously rock.

We all wish you the best in the coming year, and remember the Yule Spirit of helpfulness and joy in everything you do in the coming year.

Sans Flamme!
