Event Description

Good People of the Realms,

It is my pleasure to invite you all once again to Ashen Bounty, our annual harvest feast this fall. This year is a special celebration. This year marked the fifteenth year since the founding of Ashenmark and this will be the thirteenth Ashen Bounty. For much of those fifteen years I have served as the Highlord of Ashenmark, but at this years feast I will have the privilege of stepping down, and abdicating my rule as this year we celebration the ascension of Dame Umbra and Sir Raynor Skyline to the throne of the nation.

I invite you to join us on Friday night, as I will hold my last court in Ashenmark, before stepping down. Saturday will see a day of feasting, competition, reverie, and camaraderie alongside the ascension of the new leadership as they hold their first court. We hope you will join us in this celebration as we transition to a new generation and era of leadership in Ashenmark.

Other Notes

Price Scale
As usually we will be using a scaling "pay what you can afford" price model in order to insure that players from all financial situation are able to participate. The standard event fee for this event will be $40 for the weekend before September 18th, and $50 after, however if you are willing to kick in a little more to help cover others or aren't able to make that work with your current situation, you can pay $10 in either direction.

Gold Pay
We are trying out something new this year. For those folks who may have a little more gold than green, we are accepting payment in gold this year as a trial run. The cost of entry is 200g flat, no sliding scale or partial gold payments for this option. The goal is to give an option for some people to pay with gold, or be paid for with gold, helping to free up peoples Realms budget, hopefully either easing the financial cost of attending the event or increasing the number of events folks can attend. We're interested in hearing people's thoughts on this. Whether or not you choose to pay with gold, feel free to reach out with feedback.

Servants & Staff
We are looking for some part time kitchen and serving staff and some extra combat NPCs and staff for Sunday. If you are interested in any of these positions they come with a perk of being able to play at the rest of the event and have a reduced entry fee. Reach out to Tucker for more information.

Opt Out System
At any point during any sort of Role-Play interaction with an NPC or staff member a player may give a "thumbs down" hand gesture. This is an indication to the staff member that the situation the player finds themselves in an out-of-character uncomfortable situation or that they otherwise would like it to end for whatever out-of-character reason. Our staff will do our best to be dilligent to keep an eye out for such gestures, but do feel free to make them deliberately for clarity of our staff.

Breakfast & Leftovers
A modest pancake breakfast will be served each morning. Leftovers will be available as dayboard on Sunday. We reccomend bringing some food containers if there are any leftovers available to take home at the end of the event.

Dietary Restrictions
If you have dietary restrictions you'd like us to know about, please fill out this form: https://forms.gle/CScu5erGYE8dukrB7

Parking & Shuttle Service
The site does not allow cars to be left at the upper part of the site for long periods of time. You are able to drive up to drop your gear off. We will be running a shuttle in the morning and evenings to bring people and small amounts of gear from the parking lot to the upper site. A phone number will be posted at the parking lot to request a pickup.

This is a dry site

There are several cabins on site, we ask that players try to stick
to the cabins marked for players. Cabins are
first come first serve, but there should be plenty of bunks on
site.
