Sanctuary Questing 2 Welcome to Asteria

It has been one year since the Devourer of Truth was killed. 11 more of these foes remain. 2 of them reside in the Kingdom of Asteria, whose Princess was captured by the Devourer of Soul's Servant last fall. After a daring rescue mission by the Heroes of the Realms, King Oliver and his Knights have been able to return to the castle. But the lands are still plagued by the threat posed by the Devourers.

With the Devourer of Soul down a Servant, and its newfound partnership with the Devourer of Light making the threat greater than ever, now is the time to strike. You must enter the Devourer of Souls domain and defeat it before nightfall, lest the Devourer of Light pick you off. Will you answer the call?

Pre-reg perks are in effect. Please include your perks in your registration. Paid pre-reg, college students, and people who have been playing under a year get an additional small perk when they pre-reg.

Please include how many soul points your character has in your event reg including any modifications due to heartiness, cantrip or regionals.

Rendering Soulless and related mechanics will work differently at this event. Number of blows needed to render a character may change over the course of the event, but will not last beyond the end of the event unless by informed choice of the player. Call the Soul, Soul Snare Potions, and Regenerate the Soul will sill work to heal a soulless body but may use different mechanics than you are used to.

Players will be limited to checking 3 magic items, in-house or backed. Don't be cheesy, don't make us write new rules about magic items. Hematite and silver weapons do not count against this restriction.

As usual there will be some interesting mechanics used at this event. Please be ready to roll with things.

This is an outdoor questing event in March. Please please please dress warm and bring layers. There will be access to indoor space to warm up between mods but the questing will be all outside. You are welcome and encouraged to bow out to handle the cold and physical health.
