IC:

Come one! Come All! The lands of Blackwood cry out to all with the insatiable desire for valorous combat and raucous comradery, for the time has come once again for Blackwood Tournaments!

The Royal House of Blackwood welcomes you to rolling fields of Clontarf to join us for our 12th annual hosting of Blackwood Tournaments. Duke Sir Tao has graciously opened the border Fort Baqtubach for you all to enjoy a weekend of glorious battle and raucous pleasures featuring all the staples you know and love, and new ideas that we hope you fall in love with. We have been informed of a mysterious rift opening in the northern fields that we hope may bring an extra layer of intrigue to our annual Reclaimation Day celebration. Nothing hostile has yet spilled from it, but we remain hopeful to spend our holiday sating bloodlust, both yours and ours, on worthy foes and skilled competitors!

Dost’ thou’ covet a hilarious good time over delicious drinks? Then come into our Grand Hall and test your wit at some of our favorite newly minted national pastimes like our previously mentioned trivia game “NAY, POXY KNAVE!”, "Dark Deeds" & “Stoneface”, where thou who has not a face of stone will surely be the first to lose! In between the performances you may compete in, The Rook has organized for a variety of entertainment to keep the Grand Hall ablaze until the fair ground closes for the night- music, comedy and stories gallor! With Ser Elizah's skills behind the bar to keep the hall libated, this night will be one to remember even if you cant help but forget it!

With the Clontarf Castletown within a days travel, we have spared no expense in bringing the finest games that the Blackwood Clontarf Caisno has to offer to this event so that you may leave with pockets as full as your appetite for ale.

As for our yearly crafting challenge, this year King Saegan calls out to any furnisher who wishes to prove their skill in design and comfort to construct a camp chair fit for a King! This tournament will be scored on 3 areas, Design, Comfort and Durability and the winner will win a larger gold prize straight out of the Royal Coffers, a handful of drink tickets and voucher for a dessert of your request at the upcoming Feast of Blackwood. Any chair you design will be yours to keep, but King Saegan's royal hindside will grace it for judging purposes, so design something you will love as well as us.

Sunday will bring more tournaments that will culminate in an awards ceremony, where we will name this years Slayer, Archmage and Skald!

We could go on at length about any of these happenings, but our words will not compare to the thrill and excitement you will receive from experiencing them first hand. Come to Blackwood Tournaments XII, we excitedly await your caravan!
