Event Description
The Kingdom of Chimeron enthusiastically invites you to join us for the coronation of our next monarch, Sir Orion. Our hall will open to the Realms public at 11a on Saturday and our royal ceremonies will commence in the early afternoon. We will be treating you to a grand feast, with courses spread out between official proceedings. But there is more to establishing a Monarch of Chimeron than placing a crown upon their head amid courtly proceedings of oath-swearings and diplomatic promises. Chimeron invites the adventurers of the Realms to spend Sunday striving for completion of the task, to ensure that Orion is fully installed as the rightful sovereign in the rightful place. First off, Thank you to everyone who came out to the Dedication of King Orion at Feast of Chimeron 30! This was a huge milestone for Chimeron and we are thrilled to have shared it with all of you. There are so many people to thank for making this event happen. First I would like to thank our wonderful feastocrat Matt Butler and his entire team: Liz Butler, Ben Greene, Jana Greene, Dani Lacasse, Beth Tozier, Neil Tozier, Lynn Butler, Dez Bomster, and Kris Payne. The food was absolutely incredible, delicious, and thoughtful; and we are truly grateful. I would also like to thank our incredible servers, including our head server MJ Rodriguez as well as our full team of servers Elyse Donnelly, Jerry Pearce, Emma Sherman, Anna Hewitt, Sarah Fournier, Jasper Sierra, Dez Bomster, and Ken Belsito. A huge thank you to Ben and Dani Lacasse for providing the sound system for coronation and taking the time to run that for us as well. Another big thank you to our Reg Desk Runners Katrina Hull, Matt Brenner, and Sky Rubenstein, and our Magic Marshals Becky Baron and Dan Hudon. Thank you to our Clean Up Coordinator Hillary Fontino who also curated the gorgeous Chimeron Museum. Thank you to my fellow EH Sean Veale who also ran our casino. Thank you to Karen Veale for crafting a beautiful coronation, heralding, and running our dancing. Thank you Megan Williamson for also helping run dancing. Thank you to Pat Bobell and Kathy Fey for transporting all the questing gear from Chim storage to site. Thank you to Hannah Boucher, Devon Power-Sanford, and Stephen Sanford for making our lovely new banners. Thank you to Matt Norris and Kersten Prince for taking stunning photos of the coronation and questing. Thank you to Megan Matulewicz, Arthur Granger, and Brookelyn Tilton for bringing their shops. Thank you to Kathy Fey and her incredible team: Max McCalla, Dan Hudon, Amber Fox, and Pat Bobell who helped write and run the questing content. As well as all our other writers and NPCs! I wanted to list all of you, but the sheer number of people who stepped up to do all manner of writing, staffing, NPCing, setting up and taking down mods, marshalling, etc. made this feel impossible to do without missing someone, so thank you, all of you, for your dedication to this dedication!
