Chimeron Questing XXX: Into the Felwood Blackwood Joe and the [PURPLE HAZE]

Heroes of the Realms,

A group bearing no identifiable symbols was spotted heading into the Felwood. Over the past few days, there have been reports from denizens of the Felwood that this group has been hostile, attacking most creatures they encounter. As a result, the planned expedition into the Felwood will be considerably more dangerous than initially expected. Additionally, I must ask for your help in mending relations with the many beings who call Felwood home. Myself, Aranel, Ypnn, and Voutiá will accompany you to vouch for your safe passage. However, I must warn you the inhabitants of the forest are highly magical in nature and protect the wood with great pride and ferocity. With this invasion, the natural balance in the forest has been disrupted, and the locals will be much more territorial. I advise you to come prepared. The Felwood has long been protected by us and Gaia and is considered the last foothold for many species within the Realms. Those who can lend us aid have my deepest gratitude.

Adventurers of the Realms,
Last year, during the expedition into the quarry and attached caves near Bluetown, we discovered a map that appeared to lead to the heart of the ancient civilization known as the Draconians. After nearly a year of analyzing the map, geological records, and Earthwyrm tunneling patterns, we believe we have located the entrance to the cave system on the map somewhere in the area known as The Felwood. We have requested permission from Princess Cressida to take a small expedition into the Felwood and find this entrance. However, I anticipate it will not be as straightforward as we hope.

While we have been welcomed by its Protectors, the Felwood itself is a wild place. Not only that, but if this place is connected to the underground city, we may encounter more of the constructs that attacked us in the quarry. I humbly ask for your help to secure the safety of our excursion while we traverse the forests and caves, and assist us in the excavation of whatever ruins we may find.

PCs are able to be affected by the spell "Enfeeble Being" at this event. The mechanics for responding to this spell will be provided at the event.

Meal Plan

The deadline to guarantee accomodation of dietary restrictions has passed, but we still encourage you to pre-reg and declare if you would like to participate in the meal plan, so that we can get enough food.

There will be an on-site dinner on Saturday and a dayboard for snacks throughout the day. The price for the onsite dinner is an extra $10 on top of the sliding scale event fee, whatever you choose to pay. Below is the current planned menu though it may change slightly depending on number of sign ups.
If you registered dietary restrictions that are not met by this menu, please contact Zack Koval, so we can make sure you can eat.
