Chimeron Questing XXX: Into the Felwood Blackwood Joe and the [PURPLE HAZE]

Adventurers of the Realms,
	Thank you for your help once again in aiding our pursuit of research. We’ve learned many new things about the gemstone golems that appear in these ruins, and even more about the Draconians that once inhabited them. Now that you all have opened the entrance to the Labyrinthine tunnels below the Realms, I can start putting together an expedition that will lead us to where we theorize the Black City resides. No doubt the way will be perilous, but nothing a bunch of seasoned adventurers cant handle. Rest assured, I will reach out once we are ready for our deepest dive beneath the surface.
	From the recordings found in the topazes that were found throughout the expedition, we can surmise that the Black City fell to a great internal threat some time ago. Fortunately, it seems one of the Draconians, Phina, was able to freeze the city several hundred years ago in a similar fashion to how you managed to freeze the single Crystalized Draconian on Sunday. Unfortunately, as was demonstrated by the Mole Crabs that same day, that stasis field may not hold forever.
	I will consult with my fellow researchers on how best we might deal with this set of unknowns before us. We have learned much from this expedition, and I expect there will be much more to unearth before we are done. If there is anything you wish to ask of us, please send us a letter, I would be happy to share what I can.

Heroes of the Realms,
	First, on behalf of the protectors of the Felwood, you have our gratitude. Thank you for rescuing me, bringing balance to the denizens of the Felwood, and helping us identify the strangers who had gotten past the ents. With your help, we were able to confirm that there are no more assailants within our borders. After speaking with Professor Mia, it is clear that the force that attacked was part of Harden’s Torch, one of many groups that splintered from the Order of the Wellmen. I do not know what provoked this attack, but needless to say any member of Harden’s Torch seeking to enter the Felwood in the future will be swiftly dealt with. 
	The invasive creatures have been removed and, with your assistance in managing the numbers, the Mole Crabs have been integrating into the Felwood ecosystem seamlessly. The pair seem to be enjoying their new magic gem cave and even the summer pixies have taken to joining the occasional Mole Crab Rave! 
	Vision has asked me to deliver tidings from the flock and to tell you he says you are welcome back to visit your new bird friends in the future.

Thank you all for coming to Chimeron Questing XXX: Into the Felwood! We had such a great time taking you all through the Felwood and into the mysterious caves underneath. Most of the event staff were first-timers or still relatively new to event holding, so we would love it if you could take a minute to leave us a review on Realmsnet and keep an eye out for a PEL sometime in the next week or so.
	I’d like to thank said event staff for all the work they put in planning and running this event: Besides us two event holders, Hannah B, Ryan K, Max M, Crystal W, Kersten P, Devon P-S, and Char L. Thank you to Steven Koval for volunteering to be our Feastocrat, and doing an amazing job day-of. Thank you to Devon P-S and Amber F for making more golem gems and tabards, thank you to Kim C for letting us borrow your embroidery machine when Devon’s broke down during prop making, and thank you to Kieran for helping make the bird masks!
 Thank you to our NPCs: Isaac S, Ryan W, Ethan K, Stephen S, Kathy F, Mark, Charlie P, Nixon S, Amber F, David R, Heath S, and Sean V, and anyone else who helped out that I missed here. Thank you to Kathy, Stephen, and Ethan for showing up Friday night to help with initial setup, and thank you to Karen V and Pat B for showing up to help clean up after the event. Huge thank you again to Stephen for walking around site cleaning up while we were wrapping up content on Sunday, that helped speed up cleanup considerably and allowed us to actually get off site on time!
