Tournament of Chocolate Hosted in Eagle's Rook

April 18, 2026

Site was Camelot Cohousing Barn and Field - Berlin, MA.

Event Holder was Kyra/Kieran Barry.

Event Description
As the lands are buffeted by snow, preparations are already being made in anticipation of spring. Let not the dark months dull us, and prepare to compete renewed at Tournament of Chocolate, hosted in Eagle’s Rook. With the forces of Guthrevyn driven back, Eagle’s Rook can look outwards, and welcomes adventurers and travellers with open arms and chocolate aplenty!

Join us for an one day tournament, where there will be both combat and non-combat tournaments, and a visitation from our neighbors, the Avendroth fae.

Test your skills and participate for opportunities to earn chocolate from the prize table, and acclaim on the tournament fields.

***Other non-com tournaments: Challenge of the Penn***
This is a **non-com** tournament is meant to test your lore finding and scribing skills, as well as aid Eagle's Rook. With the battles with Guthrevyn, our libraries have not gone unscathed. We beseech adventurers of the Realms to rise to the challenge and provide legible chronicles on the **founding of Eagle's Rook**. These should be turned in upon the start of tournaments or upon arrival. They will be judged on completeness and accuracy to the best of our experts' knowledge, as well as presentation and legibility as we take pride in restoring our libraries.

OOC Notes: Please pre-reg early so we can be accurate in our chocolate preparations. When pre-regging please note if your character identifies as a lady (non-noble title) for the purposes of receiving chocolate. As many know, in Eagle’s Rook all ladies get chocolate.

Please also pre-reg your allergies.

This event will take place at Camelot Cohousing in Berlin, MA. Both the field and barn will be available to us, so our tournaments can adapt to the weather conditions. Additionally, we will have access to the main rooms of the Common House.
Event Wrap-up
How am I grateful? Let me count the ways. I am grateful to the depth and breadth and height my soul can reach. (Or, to quote Roger Rabbit, one one-thousand, two one-thousand, three one-thousand, four one-thousand, five!) Not to be dramatic, it means so much that I had so much support for my first ever event, not only from my staff but from the greater community. We had over 50 signatures! At times during the planning process I fretted we'd barely make legal.
