Event Wrap-up
Thank you everyone who attended Training Day 3! It takes dozens of people to make this event work. You may see names on here multiple times and that’s because some people did lots of work and helped out in multiple parts of the event! This year we had over 90 attendees, ran 34 hours worth of classes, had 10 KoR challenges, and enjoyed 6 different appetizer and dessert courses.

Thank you especially to…

…The new folks who decided to come to this event as your first one! You’re the only ones who I won’t call out since I know it can be daunting to be recognized in this way, but if you’d like a shoutout I’d be happy to give one. Thank you for giving the Realms a go and making this event your first one.

…My friends at the Wyvern College and the Knights of the Sable Dragon who filled essential positions at the event and helped during the meetings leading up to the event. Thank you especially to Nixon S, our magical marshal, Keith P-P, our reg desk coordinator, and Kanik H, our setup and cleanup coordinator. Thank you also to Andrew K, Bri M, Brooke T, Dani L, Elise S, Emma P-R, Eric S, Fin M, Justin B-H, Kai Y, and Sawyer J for attending the planning meetings in advance and helping with reg desk and traffic directing at the event. Dani L also made the awesome themed folders we handed out to all the students at reg. And a special shoutout to Justin T for helping with the reg desk and traffic directing as well! Thank you also to my meeting attendees and helpers who weren’t able to make it to the event, John R, and Pat B.

…The kitchen staff, who once again blew it out of the water. Dani L does an incredible job year after year as the Feastocrat, both in assembling fantastic food and an awesome team. Thank you this year to Anna R, Emma S, Jamie B, Matt B, Paul T. Thank you also to Becky B and Jerry P for assisting with dishes during their open periods. And a special shoutout to Eric S again for taking on the last round of appetizers for the day, with a creation of his own!

…The Magi who helped with magic reg. The overhaul of the conversion system, the large number of attendees, and the time of year this event is held could have resulted in an overwhelming and backed up magic reg line, but the Magi were happy to lend a helping hand. Thank you Bri M, Emily M, Eric W, Josh B, and Pi F.

…Crystal W and Ryan W for the use of and coordination for Camelot’s Common House for the day. They also did behind-the-scenes work to coordinate the event, like setup and cleanup, maintaining the fire, getting us walkie talkies for traffic directing, and more.

…Everyone who brought things to share with others. The Lunar Aegis brought their garb bin, Amber F and Jason R brought leather and fabric for free, Arthur G brought chainmail to teach and showcase, and Maria C brought her newbie spell prop bin for new players to get familiar with!

…The Knights of the Realms for running the KoR Challenge. Kathy F, Keith C, James M, Jason R, Matt B, Sean V, and Tucker N issued ten KoR Challenges total.

…And finally the people who truly make this event different from every other event, and make the core idea possible: the teachers! There’s so many of you, and I am so glad I got to see a little bit of each of your classes. Thank you to Amber F, Becky B, Bri M, Briar S, Brooke T, Cameron H, Charlie P, Crystal W, Ethan K, Hannah B, Hillary F, James M, Josh B, Justin B-H, Justin T, Kai Y, Kathy F, Keith C, Kim C, Maria C, Nate C, Ryan W, Sky R, and Tucker N.

Once again, thank you all, and I look forward to Training Day 4!
