Event Description
Turmoil has been growing on Elemirre Isle. While the the wards that bound the leshin Stravamor to the island remained intact previously, it has not stopped him from amassing power on the island and sending his agents far and wide across the Realms. Ashenmark has commited abundant resources to helping contain Stravamore on the isle, but it has come at a cost, and it is a war of attrition that is not sustainable. The settlement of Eastwatch was only the first casualty in what appears will be a long protracted conflict.

The village of Warian finds itself in turmoil, both beset upon by the forces of nature and now beholden to new masters in Ashenmark. Dissonance grows among the people, frustrated both by their dealings with the leshin and the interference of the Realms in their secluded island haven.

The golems of the Stone Grove seem to be some of the only ones prospering. Having learning to harness Stravamor's blight for their own gain, they continue their research in seclusion, hoping to find a way to continue their mission of awakening more sentient golems while working to aide the heroes of the Realms in the conflict with Stravamor.

However, recently, an oppurtunity has presented itself. One of Stravamor's most trusted agents, the former priest of Warian, Logain, has been tracked to a remote island in Rathkeale, seemingly in pursuit of one of the locations of Stravamors soul that was hidden away long ago. Highlord Temorse calls for the heroes of the Realms to travel there first before arriving on the island, and thwart Logain's hunt, and hopefully recover the fragment of Stravamor's soul within the wooden dagger before Logain is able to do so.
Event Wrap-up
IC
Various heroes of the Realms gathered on Elemirre Isle and dealt a significant blow to Stravamor. Not only did they remove one of his lieutenants from play, but they also were able to extract a significant amount of the islands blight from it, reducing the risk and danger to the people of Warian on the island and allowing them to safely remain in their ancestoral homeland. However, this was not celebrated by all. The golems whom have attempted to use the blight to awaken more of their nascent kin have been dealt a setback, no longer being able to harness the blights incredible life force to bring sentience to their otherwise autonomous bretherin.

But most unsettling of all, was the revelation that Stravamor has broken his bounds on the island, and now seeks out fragments of his soul that were sealed away by ancient heroes of the Realms. Even with his control over the blight diminished, he still poses a significant threat to the Realms at large if he is allowed to reclaim that power.

OOC
Hello Realmsfolk,

We wanted to take a few moments to shout out our players and staff who came out this past weekend for Ashen Adventures III. I know our team had a lot of fun this past weekend and I hope our players did too. In particular we wanted to recognize some individuals whose help made this event possible for everyone. I’m sure, despite our attempts at diligence, that we may miss a person or two, but know if we missed you we still appreciated your contributions immensely.

We had a handful of players who helped with set up and take down at the event throughout the weekend that we wanted to thank; Zach Senchuk, Matty Loven, Dave Jacobs, Adam Blaisdell, Anna Rufus, Jamie Bancroft, Morgan Howes, and Shane DeShone. Many hands make light work, which made the job of our reduced core staff this weekend much easier. Also thanks to Adrian Cronin, who ran breakfast on Saturday for the players and staff interested.

We also had a bunch of people who staffed for us throughout the weekend in various forms that we wanted to thank as well. It was a long weekend where we asked a lot from these folks, from grunt NPCing to face rolls to setup between encounters. Each and every one of them worked hard this weekend to help make for the best experience for the players, and hopefully had a little fun for them along the way.

Our rank and file combat NPCs throughout the weekend consisted of Bobby Ferullo, Justin Balanca-Hawkes, Eric Stegehuis, Heath Sainio, as well as Sarah Fournier, Emilio Jimenez, Eric Willison, and Justin Thibeault who joined in both as various monsters as well as their blight clones. Also to Jason Rosa who fought as well as made a variety of wonderful living weapon props to give out to the players. You all fought hard to challenge our players as well as help with setup, small face roles, and marshalling. We appreciate your hard work throughout the weekend.

A special thank you to Brooke Tilton, Bri Meisser, and Zach Emmert who all played some of our big face roles of the weekend, as well as many other tasks. You folks helped build the world and add extra layers of intricacy and intrigue for the event.

And finally a big thank you to MJ Rodriguez who played the big role of the weekend, and was able to be extremely flexible in that role. Your ability to adapt to the situation and improvise helped breathe life into a character that you made your own. We greatly appreciate everything you did with that role and are excited to see more in the future.

Again thanks to everyone who came out and apologies for any of those we have missed. We hope everyone had a blast and if you have time, we hope that you take a moment to fill out the PEL below and review the event on Realmsnet. We greatly appreciate the feedback, and show it through granting a few perks for when you attend future events.
