Blackwood Tournaments XIII

Welcome to the well pressed lists of Heminshire, where the stalwart soldiers of Blackwood are known to test their mettle. Blackwood has much planned for the people of the Realms, with the Friday night return of the Fated Arena; come and champion the arena, venture into the dark and face challenges under the threat of survival, or if your pockets are deep enough, sponsor champions in the dark.

Saturday we boast a deep list of classic tournaments! Come and challenge your skills against your peers from across the Realms with victors ensuring points towards the titles of Slayer, Archmage, and Skald, with associated relics.

On Saturday night Ser Elizah throws open the doors of the Drag Inn for an evening packed with merriment, mischief, and competition all with good company! Fan favorites Nay, Poxy, Nave!, Dark Deed, and Stoneface return, joined by new additions like Bards Bellow and more. Closing the night off with special guest performances for our first ever Drag Show! (more info on this coming soon!)

Drinks will be flowing all night with plenty of chances to test your luck and skills in our Beat the Bartender challenges. And for our gambling friends, Sir Tao will be hosting a stacked deck tournaments (see specific rules bellow)

Sunday morning Blackwood Squires Cronin & Irri will be serving up an onsite breakfast before the continuation of tournaments and of course awards!

This site will be discreetly damp; our liquor license will require that alcohol be checked into our designated bartender, and we’ll be limited to beer, wine and cider.

This site is smoke-free.

Additionally there are cabins available on site with bunks, showers and bathrooms. While there is no additional cost, if you would like to reserve a space in a cabin, please reach out to Dani or put it in the notes on your registration.

Stacked Deck Info:
40 gold entry, with 1 40 gold rebuy/add-on. 6000 chips to start with an extra 1000 available if you tip the dealer 10 gold. 1 rebuy in the first hour. You can only do this if your chip stack is at 3000 chips or less. And at the end of the first hour, anyone regardless of chip stack can do a 40 gold 6000 chip add on if they wish. Every rebuy/add on can also include the dealer tip.
This will last approximately 3 hours. It will start when we have 8 players signed up!
