SnakeU formally invites anyone eager for knowledge and scrumptious bites to another multidisciplinary department conference, catered by Snakeromancy Professor Esper Dalliance.
Esper’s scrumptious inventions are back, and Zimeya would like to welcome you all to sample them. She’s been up day and night in her workshop to prepare for this next wave of edible experiments. Several of our teaching assistants report hearing strange howling, groaning, barking, mooing, and other fascinating noises coming out of her lab in the dead of night. She did promise there would be no people in the food, and our Sssnethics Board has been very thorough in following up on this. There are no people in the food. In fact, instead of killing people to eat them, Esper is instead creating new, intriguing forms of life, and we will be sampling their eggs. This tasty egg research will help us figure out which of these new hybrid life forms can viably reproduce and live on our island. And also, of course, it will help us test the limits of Snakeromancy.
There is also still the matter of the Obsidian Necropolis. It seems that something is quite wrong amongst the order of Snake Guardians who tend to it, and SnakeU would like to extend our aid to them. And of course, if we discover any artifacts ripe for Snarcheological study, we will have to bring those back for observation and display at the University. Our Snistorians are working tirelessly to delve into the ancient history of our floating island, and they could really use the perspective of a fresh set of minds on these mysteries.
Esper is providing four courses of tantalizing, unconventional refreshments, while Professor Orsin Piver plans to lead several research, discover, and rescue expeditions into the Obsidian Necropolis.
